Dear Nova SBE Community, Around the world, the pandemic situation is worsening fast. In Portugal, the number of cases is escalating, and the health system is getting close to its limits, with the government discussing the possibility of a full lockdown. There is uncertainty about what will happen to schools and universities. We are following the situation closely and working on contingency plans to ensure that we adjust as fast and as smoothly as the situation requires, including the ongoing exams. As always, we will keep the safety of our community and the excellence and rigor of the learning experience at the core of our decisions. We are also keeping an open communication with the Student Representatives in the Pedagogical Council and the Nova SBE Students’ Union. As soon as the new measures are announced by the government, we will make the necessary decisions and communicate them as soon as possible. Please expect to hear from me on Wednesday evening, a few hours after the announcement of new measures by the government. Stay tuned. Once again, thank you for your patience and resilience. Once more the safety of our community depends on us and I count on each and every one of you to fight this battle. The next few weeks will be hard on us and on our loved ones.
Stay strong. Stay healthy.
